I definitely recommend The Rug Room! The store has a wide selection of styles, colours and sizes of rugs. The owners allow you to browse at your own pace while keeping themselves available to you in case you have questions. I was looking for an area rug prior to the Covid pandemic. I had my little girl with me in their store and she fell in love with a purple “bunny fur” rug. I told her she could maybe get it for her birthday several weeks later. The pandemic hit and everything shut down before I had a chance to buy the rug or any other gift.

I emailed Bob to explain my situation. He and Marjorie kindly agreed to meet me in the store parking lot to do a contactless exchange of money and rug. My girl was so excited to get the rug for her “Covid birthday.” She loves it! This “rug story” will be one of my positive memories from the pandemic. I am always happy to support local businesses so went back after the store re-opened and bought a beautiful area rug for my living room.
